ChabadUp is a professional marketplace designed for the global Chabad community, connecting freelancers with Chabad organizations, businesses, and individuals seeking professional services.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Maintain only one personal account (multiple organization profiles are permitted)

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Interfere with the Platform's operation
• Attempt to circumvent our fee structure
• Use the Platform for any non-professional purposes
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access

5. Freelancer Services

Freelancers offering services on ChabadUp agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of their services and qualifications
• Deliver work as described and within agreed timelines
• Communicate professionally with clients
• Honor accepted proposals and commitments
• Maintain the confidentiality of client information

6. Employer Responsibilities

Employers using ChabadUp agree to:

• Provide clear and accurate job/project descriptions
• Pay for completed work in accordance with agreed terms
• Communicate requirements clearly and professionally
• Review and respond to deliverables in a timely manner

7. Payments and Fees

ChabadUp is currently 100% free to use. There are no platform fees, commissions, or hidden charges. All payments for services are arranged directly between freelancers and clients.

• Users arrange payment terms directly with each other
• ChabadUp does not process payments between users at this time
• Users are responsible for their own invoicing and payment collection
• We recommend using secure payment methods for all transactions

8. Orders and Transactions

When using the order system on ChabadUp:

• Orders track the progress and status of work between parties
• Both parties should communicate clearly about deliverables and timelines
• Completion of orders should be confirmed by both parties
• Issues should be reported promptly through our dispute system

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between users:

• Users should first attempt to resolve issues directly through messaging
• Disputes can be reported to our admin team for review
• Our team will review evidence and provide mediation assistance
• We encourage users to resolve payment disputes independently
• Repeated violations may result in account suspension

10. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, intellectual property rights for completed work transfer to the buyer unless otherwise agreed. Freelancers retain the right to display work in their portfolio unless confidentiality is agreed upon.

11. Limitation of Liability

ChabadUp provides a platform for connecting users but is not responsible for:

• The quality of work delivered by freelancers
• Payment disputes between users
• Any losses arising from use of the Platform
• Actions or content of third parties
• Verification of user credentials or qualifications

12. Identity Verification

ChabadUp offers a verification badge for community members:

• Verification is available to confirmed community members upon request
• Verified users receive a badge displayed on their profile
• Verification does not guarantee the quality of services
• False claims may result in account termination

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may also request account deletion by contacting support, subject to completing any active orders.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
